> PRAY FOR THE FIRST PEOPLES OF CANADA

Pray for First Peoples of Canada that they will feel God's presence, hope, joy and peace.

 

Pray they will feel the love of God in their lives.

 

Pray against a spirit of hopelessness, that hope will increase and there will be a sense of purpose and destiny in their lives like never before.

​

> PRAY FOR CANADIANS

​

Pray that all Canadians will love the First Peoples of Canada as they love themselves.

 

Pray that all Canadians would care about First Nations issues, especially the high suicide rates, as they would if it was in their own community.

​

- Galatians 5:14 - For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: Love your neighbour as yourself.

 

> PRAY FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

​

Pray that First Peoples young people will arise in faith, love and joy for each other and their communities.

​

Pray that they will realize their God-given destinies and walk out these purposes in a hope-filled way.

​

- Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.

​

> PRAY FOR FAMILIES

​

Pray for First Nation families, for God to bring comfort to those who have faced loss of a family member due to suicide.

​

Pray for families to come together in unity and strength realizing that together they are stronger and can face adversity. Let them lean into God for strength and grace to overcome challenges.

​

- Ecclesiastes 4:12 - And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.

​

> PRAY FOR COMMUNITIES

​

Pray for First Nations communities for unity, hope and love. Pray that God will pour His Spirit upon First Nation communities. Pray that God's love with be felt in a tangible way to all members of their communities, from the oldest member to the youngest baby, that each would feel their worth and value and that the generations would depend on and learn from each other. 

​

- Acts 2:17 - And it shall be in the last days,' God says, 'That I will pour forth of my Spirit on all mankind; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams...

​

> PRAY FOR COMMUNITY LEADERS

​

Pray that First Nations community leaders will have courage to boldly step forward in representation of their communities to Canadian governments.

 

Pray for wisdom for them to empower their communities, especially their young people to have all the tools their need to pursue their God-given destinies.

​

> PRAY FOR ELECTED OFFICIALS
 

Pray for Canadian elected officials to care about First Nation issues and communities, bringing forth laws and changes that bring prosperity, love and hope to the First Peoples of Canada.
